Location - on Weddington Rd, across the road from Wingate by Windham hotel, Concord.

Directions: from Interstate 85 turn off onto Bruton Smith Blvd (SE), and take an immediate left onto Weddington Rd Ext (NE). Cemetery is beside the road on the right.

A monument stone is inscribed: "McClure Cemetery - The original community cemetery was located approximately 725 feet southwest of this site. It was relocated in August 1997."

Husband of Margaret Harris Alexander. Son of Theophilus Alexander and Catherine Wallace Alexander. To the memory of Col. George Alexander who departed this life September 8th 1814 aged 71 years.
2. Alexander, Margaret Harris   (b. 1748 - d. 28 Feb 1819)
Wife of George Alexander. To the memory of Margaret Alexander who departed this life February 28th 1819 aged 71 years. Margaret was born about 1748 (calculated from date of death and inscription on headstone), in Mill Grove, Cabarrus, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Charles HARRIS & Jean McILLHENNY. She married Col George Alexander.
3. Galloway, Emeline J.   (b. Abt 1832 - d. 29 Oct 1853)
Died October 29th 1853 in her 21st year.

Wife of Francis L. Galloway. In memory of Nancy Galloway beloved wife of F. L. Galloway Born September 13th 1811 Died November 28th 1837. Also an infant daughter.

Wife of Thomas Gallway. Agness Gallway died July 12 1825 aged 66.

Husband of Agness Gallway. Thomas Gallway died July 25 1803 aged 53.
10. Harris, Mary   (b. Abt 1740 - d. 10 Nov 1794)
Wife of Robert Harris. In memory of Robert Harris E. who departed this life March 22nd 1803 aged 66 years. Also Mary Harris who departed this life November 10th 1792. The last digit of the year really looks like a 2, although it is told she Died in 1794.
