Location - on the north side of Park Springs Rd. about 8/10th mile from Hwy 86 in the Providence Community. A single gravestone.

Directions: go about a quarter of a mile west of Moons Creek Primitive Baptist Church and in the horse pasture there is an Ingram marker that is covered by a large holly tree and has been toppled over.
Surveyed by Barbara Moore in December 2007. Frances Ingram Ward pointed out this cemetery and provided much extra information.
The marker was erected in 1957 and names Archibald Ingram, b 1776 and died 1858 - son of John and Mary Ingram and husband of Mary Nichols. It also lists their children:
Martin Ingram, born 1803, died 1881 - married Ann Howard;
Priscilla Ingram, born 1805, died 1842 - married Ellis Travis;
Sidney Ingram born 1807, died 1847 married Jane Canifax;
Mary H. Ingram born 1812 died 1881 - married Isaac Travis;
Elisabeth Ingram born 1814, died 1904 - married Johnson E. Atkinson born 1799, died 1856;
Tirzah Ingram born 1817, died in 1878 married Stephen Travis;
James Ingram born 1819 - died (no date) married Sarah Winn.
It also has engraved on it: Tombstone erected by: E. H. Ingram; R. T. Ingram, W. H., Ingram, J. S. Atkinson, S. H. Atkinson, and K. B. Atkinson. These are thought to be grand-children.
Archibald Ingram is the brother of Elisha Ingram. Elisha and his family moved to Iredell County and their graves are way off I-40 in deep woods on a hill near the Catawba River. Both Archibald and Elisha are sons of John and Mary Ingram. James Ingram and Johnson Atkinson (son and son-in-law of Archibald Ingram) bought the one acre on which Moons Creek Primitive Baptist Church is located from Archibald Ingram in 1841 for that purpose. Archibald and Elisha both inherited land from their father John with Moons Creek being part of the description of the land. John was a revolutionary war soldier and died about 1820. It is not known where John Ingram is buried.
