      On 28 April 1989, J. Lamont Norwood recorded 2 grave markers and about 12 field stones. Later, Will Heiser visited the site with Lamont Norwood. In February 2014, Jim and Bev Wiggins visited the site with Alan Fearing.

      Legal: Parcel 1876. Deed 820/964; 2000. Earlier, estate of Ross Norwood. Plat 26-1 does not show cemetery. In 1836, Wesley Mann obtained 129 acres on Wilkerson Creek from Pleasant George via A-D/421.
      Topo Quadrant: Bynum.
      Family owned: Yes.
      Abandoned: Yes.
      Number of graves: 15.
      Cemetery size: 20' x 20'.
      White: Yes.
      Restricted access: Yes. Difficult to find on private property
      Overgrown and not easy to identify: Yes.
      Enclosed: No.

      Miscellaneous information: A large cedar grows by the cemetery. The Wesley Mann homestead is nearby, now collapsed. Homestead location N 35-47-45.1 W -79-9-37.5.

      Last canvassed by: On 28 April 1989, J. Lamont Norwood recorded 2 grave markers and about 12 graves marked with field stones. Later, Will Heiser visited the site with Lamont Norwood. On 28 Feb 2014, Alan Fearing showed Jim and Bev Wiggins to the site. About 11 graves were clearly marked but others might be present.

      • Unknown burials represented by numerous fieldstones.
