This abandoned cemetery has seven legibly marked graves dating to 1862. In addition to the seven inscribed grave markers, there are two other graves that have good size field stones for head and foot stones. These are probably the graves of William Parrish and his wife Lucy Gwynn Parrish (parents of Williamson Parrish). There is a temporary metal marker placed there recently, but the dates don't agree with other records. William was born around 1772 (census 1810-1830) and died in 1827 (probate). Lucy died about 1832 (probate in 1836). There are also 6-8 clay bricks and stones that appear to be marking other graves.

Canvassed by Jean B. Anderson (1981). Corrected location and directions provided by Mark Wheeless in May 2009 and April 2019. Updates and photographs by Mark Wheeless in April 2019.
