393    NEW ROCK SPRING CHURCH (abandoned)

Location - on the north side of Bruce Garner Rd, about 1,000 feet east of the entrance to Smith Creek Preserve subdivision.

A path leads off Bruce Garner Rd for about 550 feet to the location of the old church and the cemetery which was behind the church. The church building is gone now. The cemetery is now in a very wooded area and most of it is hard to discern. There are many dozens of manmade grave markers and vary many graves marked by field stones.
