364    BLOUNT, JACOB FAMILY

Location - at Blount Hall, his plantation, on the west side of NC 11 South, 0.1 mile south of Hanrahan Crossroads.

Survey compiled by William "Bill" B. Kittrell in 2007.

Sam McLawhorn pointed out what he thought might be the location years ago, but there are no stones or other visible signs of the cemetery. In his book, Blounts of Pitt County, NC, Sylvester Green stated that, according to family, Jacob Blount was buried at Blount Hall. If indeed he is buried here, then certainly other family members were also.

  1. Blount, Jacob   (b. 1726 - d. 17 Aug 1789)
