      Directions: From intersection of US Hwy 601 and NC Hwy 268 (Fairview Crossroads), go east on NC Hwy 268 for 4 miles and turn right on Copeland School Road (aka Double Creek Rd). Then go 1.1 miles and road will split with Double Creek Rd to the left and Stoney Knoll Rd to the right. Veer right and church is on the left and cemetery is in the fork of the road.

      Burials survey by Bob Carter in 2007 and resurveyed in March 2012 and photos in June 2012.

      NOTE: Starting point for documenting graves began closest to church on Stoney Knoll Rd (front), then working east toward Pilot Mtn, then back west, from Stoney Knoll Rd to the rear of the church (back). In some cases, actual grave may have just initials or years, but have provided additional data from research.

      This was a full and complete survey of burials on several visits in the month of January 2007 and again in March 2012. The survey started at the northwest corner next to the church and worked in a zig-zag fashion to the back of the cemetery below the church. There were several ground depressions suggesting old burials.
