Directions: From intersection of US Hwy 52 and US Hwy 601 in Mt. Airy, go north on US Hwy 52 (Andy Griffith Parkway) for 5.1 miles and turn left on Fancy Gap Rd. Follow Fancy Gap Rd for .3 mile and turn right on Miller Rd (SR 1625). Then go .8 mile and turn right on Old Rail Rd (SR 1626). Then go .3 mile on Old Rail Rd to the first vacant field on the right.

The cemetery is at the top of the ridge in a wooded area. It is overgrown with saplings and briers. There are about twelve graves in this cemetery with some field stones and the following legible stones: Infant Son of J. F. (?) and Amanda Miller (no dates); and Laura A. Miller, b. July 16, 1871, d. March 20, 1883. It is believed that William Carter, Jr. (or William Carter, II), the father of Jonathon Hanby Carter, is buried on this site..
