      Directions: From intersection of US Hwy 52 and Cook School Rd just north of Pilot Mtn, go west on Cook School Rd and turn right on Old Hwy 52 north (at the yield sign). Then go 1.3 miles on Old US 52 and turn left on Ararat Rd and follow it for .6 miles. Cemetery is on the left next to the church.

      The church was founded May 25, 1836. First Minister was Rev. James H. Needham As you face the cemetery looking west, the section to the left (south) has numerous field stone markers that are former slaves.

      This was a complete survey of burials as found. The Notes section contains additional data Bob has collected over the years from birth, death, and marriage records as well as obituaries. If anyone recognizes a factual error, please contact Bob Carter for a correction. The survey was begun at the northeast corner of the cemetery nearest to the church moving right to left, then left to right, and working toward the back of the cemetery at the tree line.
