Directions: From intersection of NC Hwy 21 (aka North Bridge St) and NC Hwy 21 Bypass and Brookfall Dairy Rd (SR 1157) in North Elkin, go west on Brookfall Diary Rd (runs along north side of Wal-mart store) for .1 mile to the truck entrance to the Wal-mart store. Turn into the truck entrance and immediately on the left is the cemetery enclosed in a fairly recent new chain link fence.

According to previous land owners who sold the property to this shopping center, the cemetery has always been rumored to be an Indian burial place but it was a Maxwell family of three that were buried there. (Could both be true?). Lots of rocks piled up into mounds that look like petrified wood of some sort.
