Located at 7025 Kit Creek Road, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina 27709. (also known as Kitt's Creek, at Davis Drive intersection, southwest corner). This community was known as the Kitts Creek Community, and the road was known as the CC road as it was built during the Depression by the citizens conservation corps. This is in the Cedar Fork Township, and variously has been referred to as being in Morrisville Post Office territory, and before WW2 the little train stop to the west of the neighborhood (near Triangle Brick Company) was known as Togo. Lowe's Grove and Carpenter are nearby communities. A black family of Mayos farmed next door and to the east to the old Marcom homestead after emancipation.

Husband of Cornelia Ann Sears Marcom. Son of Tommy Marcom and Cirena/Renia Mainord/Maynard Marcom. Briefly captured by Union forces in closing days of Civil War for hiding horses and provisions.

6. Marcom, James Carey "Jim"   (b. 17 Mar 1862 - d. 14 Dec 1928)
Son of Basil Henderson Marcom and Cornelia Ann Sears Marcom. Father of Excell Markham.
7. Marcom, Lillian   (b. unknown - d. unknown)
Possibly the child of Myrtie who is said to have died in childbirth.
8. Marcom, Lydia "Lettie?"   (b. unknown - d. unknown)
Thought to be sibling of Excell Sr. and to have died in childhood, but does not appear in 1900 or 1910 censuses as a member of the family. Possibly the child of Myrtie.
9. Marcom, Myrtie   (b. Sep 1886 - d. 1901)
Daughter of James Carey Marcom and Elena Pittsianne High Marcom.
10. Marcom, Thomas "Tommy"   (b. 1813 - d. 1885)
Husband of Cirena Maynard Marcom. Probably the first burial in this family cemetery.
11. Roberts, Bennon   (b. 1896 - d. 1900)
Son of Janette Virginia Marcom Roberts.
12. Roberts, Janette Virginia Marcom "Jennie"   (b. 31 Aug 1859 - d. 26 Sep 1925)
Wife of G.P. Roberts. Daughter of Basil Henderson Marcom and Cornelia Ann Sears Marcom.
