The cemetery is in a field behind the residence at 6161 Mountain Valley Rd. Permission should be asked before visiting the cemetery.
There is only one inscribed marker in the family cemetery, and several other graves marked only by local field stones. The cemetery was reported by a relative Frances Hairfield Crowder of Raleigh NC in October 2016. Frances provided all the photographs.

Records for James show birth date of 30 Jun 1878 and death date of 27 May 1962. Son of James David Hairfield and Matilda Emma Haley Hairfield.
 Hairfield, Julia Kate (b. Dec 1891 - d. 1960) Sister of James Bruce Hairfield. (buried here per family records). Daughter of James David Hairfield and Matilda Emma Haley Hairfield.
