      Location - In Alamance County near highway 54 on Salem Church Road (SR-2142) near intersection with Phillips Chapel Road (SR-2151). On private property in a large field on top of a hill.

      This site contains the burials of both Thomas Thompson and John Thompson, and members of both families. They were unrelated but both settled along the Haw River in the mid 1700's and their families intermarried frequently. A memorial was erected in 1932. Close-up of memorial plaque.

      Earliest dated burial in 1796, last known burial in 1928. This is a well tended cemetery.
