035 BROWN'S CHAPEL
Location - this cemetery is located at 1317 W. Davis Street, in Burlington, NC.
Survey from the notes of Durward T. Stokes recorded on March 8, 1959.
Brown's Chapel was a Methodist Church, of log construction, built sometime in the 19th century and discontinued sometime in the early 20th century. A subscription School was operated in the Chapel. Later a building was erected close by the Church, for the School. When this school was discontinued, the building was moved to Glen Raven and used there for a school. This Cemetery was called to my attention by Miss Meledieth Frazer, of Burlington, NC
