      This Joseph John Alston was the son of William and Anne (Yeargan) Alston, and a nephew of Joseph John "Chatham Jack" Alston.

      Location of cemetery was reported by Dr. Billy Ivey, purchaser of abandoned house on the property. On 5 June 1995, Will M. Heiser recorded five legible grave markers and one grave marked with two field stones.
