Area visited by Will M. Heiser, Jesse Fearrington, J. Lamont Norwood, and Charles Aycock Poe, on 6 June 1995. Found no signs of cemetery or grave marker. Chuck Poe said George Dismukes was buried in this area and that a woman from Florida carried away a field stone which had been marked "1827."
On 21 February 1997, Will M. Heiser noted 5 scattered field stones, any one of which could have represented a grave location.
