      In 1989, Robert Hughes recorded 66 grave markers, including 48 of the 81 legible markers from Ebenezer Methodist Church South Cemetery (L38.2), [Note 6], and 18 new graves since reinterment. Thirty-three (33) of the 81 legible markers were not found by Robert Hughes, and were recorded by Will Heiser in 1997 from Corps of Engineers records. In 1938 the County Home Register recorded Lucinda McCoy was buried at Ebenezer (L38.2). She was reinterred also but no marker was found. Angie Pearse photographed the legible markers in the cemetery in May 2025. Burial records have been updated from her photographs.
