The cemetery was cleaned up in 2000 by the Col. John Randolph Lane Camp, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and is maintained by property owner Ronald Lambert. Ronald Lambert showed Jim and Bev Wiggins to the site on 13 Apr 2012. At least 23 graves marked with inscribed markers or fieldstones were counted. Additional graves are probably present as a burial site for George H. Fitts, the last person buried in the cemetery, was created by moving a section of the surrounding stone wall, suggesting that other burial sites within the wall were not available. The wall has collapsed inward and may cover some graves on the west side. A small stone which now faces a cedar tree growing just inside the west wall wall was read using a mirror. The marker is so close to the tree that it cannot otherwise be read and part of the inscription is below ground.
