In April 1995, Audrey O. Heiser recorded 578 grave markers and noted 39 illegible markers. Will M. Heiser reported that the County Home Register recorded three burials at Hanks Chapel: Katherine Bright, Maggie Clark, and Jimmie Riddle. In 1984, David Richard Denson and David C. Denson were reinterred in Apex Cemetery. Some pictures by Barbara Pugh in April 2020.
