In 2010 Mike Tysor reported that a local timber contractor had told him about a large cemetery on Jack Norwood's property, parcel 87659. Bev Wiggins contacted the contractor who said that the property had been logged many years before. His recollection was that the cemetery was in the southwest corner of the parcel. He said the cemetery was approximately a quarter of an acre, with no modern headstones. The graves were marked with fieldstones. He said the site was near a property line and that a road goes near the cemetery.

Wiggins also contacted the property owner, Jack Norwood, who had no knowledge of the cemetery but provided the name of the logger who had thinned the tract in 2008, Donald Ray Young. Mr. Young said he was not aware of a cemetery on that property. So far, we have not found anyone who can take us to the site or confirm its precise location.
