In February 1984, Martha Harrington recorded 10 grave markers and reported 10 unmarked graves. This cemetery was listed by Kathy Brooks Jones in Buffalo Creek Chronicles, Vol. I, 1984, page 133.

Canvassed by Martha Harrington, Feb 1984. Sandra Ellington took photographs in 2004, and added information from three family Bibles (1) John Wesley and Ora Lee Marks Utley, (2) Julia Emma Utley, and (3) Gabriel and Lucy Cross Utley and Jacob Utley and Griza Ann Buchanan Utley in Jan 2011. Death certificates were used to confirm some dates and relationships.
