      Directions: From intersection of US Hwy 52 and Cook School Rd just north of Pilot Mtn, go west on Cook School Rd and turn right on Old Hwy 52 north (at the yield sign). Then go 1.3 miles and turn left on Ararat Rd and follow it for 2.4 miles. Cemetery is on the right behind an old church building.

      Status of cemetery:  Maintained, but some markers need cleaning.

      Ths is an independent cemetery, and is not associated with either of the churches which adjoin the cemetery property. It is managed by five trustees of the cemetery. The cemetery was started in June 1900 with the first burial of Joseph Robert Forkner. The cemetery was formally deeded to a board of trustees in 1939. Only family members and descendants of those already buried there are allowed future burials in the cemetery. For more information, please contact Mr. Tom Bryant at 336-374-0756.
