Surveyed by Shirley Olson on March 3, 2004.
This small family cemetery is part of the restored "Oakview" which technically is not a plantation, but comes pretty close. Originally it was the home of the Williams family (built in 1855) and later home to a number of prominent Wake County families. Only Benton and Burchett Williams have markers on their graves. There are several small tablets marked "grave", with no names. In the front of the cemetery is a monument with six names, see below. There is ample parking. This is worth a visit.
- Riggan, Joseph H. (b. 1885 - d. 1886)
- Riggan, Lula V. (b. 1880 - d. 1884)
- Riggan, Michael H., Jr. (b. 1882 - d. 1886)
- Williams, Benton S. D. (b. 1799 - d. 1870)
- Williams, Burchett P. (b. 1807 - d. 1886)
- Williams, John Q. (b. 1831 - d. abt 1866)
