Margaret McDuffie Blalock, age 89, of Sanford, NC, died at Central Carolina Hospital. She was born in Harnett County, NC to the late Owen Stead McDuffie and Mary Jarman McDuffie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Larry Joe Blalock; brothers Curell McDuffie, Mac McDuffie and sister Opal Jessup. Margaret worked many years for both Eaton Corp. and Static Control Components. She loved being a homemaker and working in her flower garden. Most importantly she loved the Lord and always shared her faith. Her favorite saying was "God has been so good to me" no matter how bad her health became. She is survived by sons Jerry Blalock of Broadway, Jack Blalock and wife Deborah of Broadway; sister Joyce M. Barbour and husband W.A. "Dub" of Sanford; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with funeral services held in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with burial at Shallow Well Church Cemetery.
